3. Description: MDAT-GOG has received a report that a vessel has been boarded in position 04°33’N – 002°23’E (approximately 104NM south of Cotonou, Benin). The boarders are reported to have left at 2045 UTC, the vessel is safe.

MDAT-GOG strongly recommend that the seafaring community and ships transiting this area, increase their vigilance and retain an enhanced local surveillance and apply BMP WA procedures.
