Attack
Following the attempted boarding of attempting to board the Tanker EPIC BERMUDA 2.5nm East of Takoradi reported yesterday. An MV was attacked in position 03°30’N 003°49E’ on 30th April 2020 at 1940Z by a skiff with an unknown number of armed pirates. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area. Kidnapping
Dryad Global Report indicates that the MT VEMAHOPE was attacked by a single speedboat with an unknown number of armed individuals on board. The vessel is understood to have been boarded resulting in the kidnap of 10 crew members. SOURCE LINK HERE
