ARX Mouldings is following reports that state over 24 hours ago  A vessel in position: 052935S 0093400E (approximately 140NM West of Pointe Noire) has reported being boarded by 5 armed persons who approached the vessel from 1 skiff. The crew are currently in the citadel. It is believed that local Navy’s are still trying to locate the vessel, which would indicate that it is now a successful hijacking.
Mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting this area.
We strongly recommend that the seafaring community (all Shipping) transiting this area increase their vigilance and retain an enhanced local surveillance and apply BMP WA procedures.
